Whatever it is that you can brainstorm – guitar pedals and studio effects, synths and samplers, grooveboxes and drum machines, modulars and modulation signals, mixers and recording interfaces – the Patchulator allows it all to interconnect. So if your brain tissue needs some electro-stimulation, simply inject control voltages and audio signals directly from your modular into effects units and chains. In the world of modular synthesizers, the Patchulator is the brainstem between your modules and outboard gear, since it uses both standard and mini phono plugs. Using the mini patch cables, you can then route any of the effects into and out of the signal path of any instrument, just like a real patch bay! Hmmm… what will you mastermind? Just connect your keyboards, synthesizers, samplers, drum machines (or any sound source) to a few channels, then fill the other channels with your effects’ ins and outs. Oh, and any effect not patched is “truly” bypassed… Genius!Īre your cables giving you a brain freeze? In the world of electronic music, the Patchulator desktop patchbay becomes a powerful nerve center for your instruments, allowing you to share and swap effects all around your setup, without needing to solve a brainteaser. Invent new and interesting sounds while your synapses are firing, simply by rearranging the sequence of effects! All your gear and cabling stays put. After figuring this out, now I can make music with a passion again. Is your pedalboard brain-dead? The Patchulator provides a tangle-free way to change the order of your effects to create new tones using little to no brainpower! With the provided mini cables, just patch signal from your guitar or bass into (and out of) each effect, then back out to your amp or mixer. I have never had to deal with this problem before, and so I thought it was software related. Nonetheless, I think the Axiom Air 25 MIDI controller got reset somehow, and the Tempo button got turned off. I don't usually play with various features on my MIDI controller, because I only rely on the keys to interact with the VST programs. The Tempo button near the LCD screen for Axiom Air 25 got turned off somehow, and all I had to do was turning it back on. AXIOM Air 25 MIDI keyboard controller doesn't need driver update. Additional information: I'm using latest Sonar Platinum (2016). I'm downloading Cubase as we speak just to see if the problem would exist in another DAW with my MIDI controller. This means AXIOM Air 25 is being recognized by Sonar, but why no MIDI input playback at all? I've tried usual steps such as reconfigure MIDI, restarting computer, and whatnot, but nothing is solving this problem. Posted: Mon 8:29 pm Post subject: MIDI input router (MIDI patchbay sort of) Subject description: Need help converting mechanical switch to electronic switch I've previously built a simple mechanical MIDI input switch using a two-pole rotary switch (see schematic below). The funny thing is that whenever I turn off and turn back on the MIDI controller keyboard (which is AXIOM Air 25), Sonar complains that it wants to reconnect the device again. My problem is that the MIDI keyboard controller isn't talking to Sonar alright. Of course, various VST programs' virtual keyboard and whatnot make MIDI fine. Making music with a keypad Seems like a weird idea But we will see with the good software, we can even make an electric guitar out of it Midi Keypad. Now, no matter what I've tried, I cannot make any sound from the MIDI controller (which is AXIOM Air 25). Remember to describe your presets and include any other information you'd like to. Uploading: Use the form to the right to send your custom presets, or attach your preset.zip file to an email and send to. For the life of me, before latest Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum update, my AXIOM Air 25 was able to get MIDI input to work correctly. NOTE: You can also use your MIDI utility to archive all your custom presets by performing a bulk dump to your computer. I don't have Yamaha MIDI controller keyboard, but I'm experiencing same problem with AXIOM Air 25.
